These past few weeks have been a blur with fun and hard work.
From sharing our favourite books on Roald Dahl day to hopping like frogs or eating cakes for charity, it feels like we haven’t stopped! Have a look at the pictures below to see how much fun we had!
In Science we are looking at different types of animals and thier unique characteristics. Where do fish live? Do whales have hair? Are crocodiles amphibians or reptiles? All these questions have been swimming around our brains and we are working hard to find the answers!
In English, we have finished our first fiction text piece about a dancing giraffe called Gerald. Now we leaning about real life giraffes and non-fiction, non-chronological reports. See all of the facts on our washing lines for all the amazing facts we know.
In Maths we have been practicing our addition and subtraction on both our fingers and on a numberlines. Some of us can even do it in our heads! This week we are looking at shapes and lines of symmetrey.
As always thanks for reading!
Year 1 Team.
